Well after watching a rant on YouTube about babies being in the movie theaters during certain movies, especially ones that are R rated, I want to bring this issue up to the members of CB.

Personally, I don't think parents should bring their babies to the movies, especially if it's a movie that has been rated improper for their young children, but clearly people don't listen. When going into a movie, I pay to see the movie and be able to hear everything, not listen to fuckin' children cry and scream and totally ruin the damn thing for me. That's what I go to work for, basically, is to get paid to hear children scream all day long. I don't go to the movies for that reason, so either hire a baby sitter or tough shit, you're just not gonna go see that movie. Parents have to make sacrifices, that's why it's called being a parent, so leave the babies out of the movies.

What do you think, CB? Do you think parents should leave their babies at home or just not come at all if they're uncomfortable taking them to the movie? Hell, even my Dad didn't let my brother, who is in the fifth grade, go see The Dark Knight and Watchmen because he was concerned it was too extreme for him with how twisted and fucked up Joker was and how violent and adult Watchmen was, and usually my Dad is a reasonable and easy going guy, not caring about things like that, but there comes a point when you just need to draw the line on what you want your child being exposed to.

There's a petition online that people are signing right now to get babies banned from movie theaters, especially R rated movies, in order to not ruin the video for everyone else. Sign it if you see fit and agree. Discuss your opinions here.

I've sort of got mixed feelings about this, having a three-year old niece myself, but I generally agree with most of the points that are made. While I've got no problems with parents bringing their kids to G/PG rated movies that are clearly geared towards younger children, they really have no buisness bringing babies and toddlers to PG-13 and R rated movies in the first place. Like you said, either find a babysitter or choke it up and stay at home.

Oh, at first I thought it was about babies in movies :lmao

But yeah, babies in the Cinema is a fast-ticket for the black book for me. There's absolutely nothing worse then crying babies ruining the movie.

Actually that goes for everything and not just movies. Theaters, musicals, debates, everything. It jsut ruins the whole experience.
