This arc is so badass in anime. :A Wtf? It took so long in manga, but it's steaming along in anime and providing a full kick ass battle each episode. :A This is better than the Soul Society arc in anime so far. :A

People should be watching this.

It is a pretty good arc so far..the VC fights dont seem to be hardcore fillers like it was in the anime.

Honestly i think the anime team is doing a good job. I also enjoy the extra filler fights they throw in from time to time.

A bad part about canon arcs in anime is so many episodes of rising action. This ep was one of those, but there's good pay off coming very soon. I don't wanna read the manga again to spoil it for myself, but I think Soi Fon and Omaeda are up for a fight next week. --snip--.

Omaeda you magnificent plump bastard! :manly You tell that peasant what for!

Omaeda is by far my favorite character in all of Bleach because of Winter War. He was the biggest saving grace of this in the manga, and they pulled off his sinister gotcha speech excellently in the anime.

I think I know why I disliked this arc in the manga. It really was just a screen play for the anime, with its blank backgrounds and screen filling close ups. This is such a better experience.
