- I love epic films, they are just the bomb
- Tadanobu Asano is the main character.

Not sure why that vid ain't playing for me. But it looks like a good movie. I watched the whole thing in Russian so I didn't get much about what was going on, but it was alright. In the film, Temujin's best friend is one of my fav. Chinese actors, Honglei Sun (main villain in Seven Swords). When I first saw the trailer clips I was thinking he would play Genghis but I didn't mind that he didn't in the end.

The story is pretty accurate to Genghis' actual story so that may be good for some, but I prefer a slightly different version to that, which I read in a book.

Film's got some nice scenes though...but I think there is at least one better Genghis Khan film out there.

Looks good but I'll see it when its on dvd or I'll dld it. I just don't like how they have to add the damn romance to the movie. It would be fine without it.

hah. I dled that movie couple months ago, burned on dvd and forgot about it.

but when I wanted to see it couple weeks later I couldn't find that dvd :zaru

well, one of the reasons that I didn't watch it after downloading it, was that it had russian lecotr :kewl

there isn't any clean release . Ive seen some French and italian ones (the french one is supposed to be without russian lector, but with french subs) but no english one

I've seen one single, solitary commercial for this movie about a week ago and that was it. I haven't seen one since. But this movie looks beautiful.
