What city shows the most "team spirit"?

Talking about any league sport where the team is associated to a city (ie: japanese baseball, american football, canadian hockey, etc.) and not a whole country.


What city out there do you feel has been known to go all goo-goo for it's home team?

I'd say NY Yankees only because i've seen some of the Yankee fandom personally, and I live in NJ, I can imagine how NYC must actually be with their baseball, especially with having a rivalry within on of the biggest cities in the world should really boost up the team spirit on both sides for Yankees and Mets :zaru

Pittsburg Steelers. Plain and simple every game home or away they always have so many terrible towels waving. Also yes Yankees but I personally feel the Red Soxs have surpassed them.

But to go by sport:
Football-Steelers
Baseball-Red Soxs/Yankees/Cubs
Basketball-Lakers/Celtics
Hockey-Red Wings

At least thats what I feel it is here in America.

Edit: To give a city itself, its I feel a tie betwwen New York and Boston.

A lot of the Boston fans (Celtics, Patriots, Red Sox) are pretty diehard, passionate, loyal, and some are just plain obnoxious.

I think some of the cities where there are few professional sports team are pretty spirited as well like the Utah Jazz fans, who also get some bad rep, and Sacramento Kings fans.

PA with Football Eagles/Steelers

West Coast [Cali] is divided between I think 3-4 baseball teams and 2-3 footballs teams and that if is am remembering correctly D:
