CB Naruto Tournament - Round 1 Match 1 - Mootz vs. Creator

The teams start along the main road (bottom panel of link), 100 Meters apart. The town is abandoned. Line of sight: YES.

The boundary of the location is the outside of the walls around the town.

I know of the sannin in the past because of Chiyo and current because of Naruto. Naruto has a few new sage abilities that Jiriaya doesnt know about though Sai and Tsunade do know. Kankuro is unknown by the other team.

First order of business, get out of sight. This is insanely important for all my characters and their attacks. It should be easy to do if you notice the size of all the buildings.

Naruto sends out two clones to hide and gather sage chakra and henges two (Or is it one more allowed?) into puppets for Chiyo to control. Kankuro will accompany these clones so that they have a lookout, just in case. The real Naruto pops out into sight again doing his usual I am going to beat you up routine, the other team should immediately suspect its a distraction clone. Naruto uses this caution and confusion to attack Tsunade in this manner http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/430/17-18/ as you can see he moves very fast here, fast enough for Tsunade to be totally surprised. Hopefully he finishes her with this very move.

Either way he immediately engages with Jiriya. Of course during this time Chiyo comes out with her henged naruto clones (they pack a punch) and some of her actual clones. The other team will have to deal with poison and the power of the sage clones which should be able to dodge most physical attacks, thanks to Chiyo's expertise as shown in the Sasori fight, meaning they are not likely to just easily be destroyed.

Tsunade has experience fighting Chiyo in the past but there is no reason to believe she has the ability to counter act any poison her puppets will currently be using. Naruto will target Tsunade first because of the healing, experience and the fact that Chiyo will focus on Tsunade during the fight. If Tsunade is knocked out then her healing summon should dissapear.

Combined experience and knowledge of the sannin should be enough for Naruto and Chiyo to take on the two sannin. Sai is practically a non factor.If the naruto clones are discovered Kankuro will alert them, meaning they will have a chance to counter attack and possible injure whoever comes after them (if its Sai he is screwed, Tsunade as well.) Even if the clones are destroyed their chakra will return to Naruto so its not a total loss.

If the sannin try to hide at the begining before my team then he will use a mass shadow clone and skip the chakra gathering step. He will still henge clones for puppets for Chiyo and follow the general strategy outlined before.

If they summons frogs/slugs he can match them with his greater chakra amounts. Also keep in mind it takes Jiraiya a longer time to enter sage mode and, as usual, naruto has the stamina advantage. When Naruto's clone puppets are destroyed, Chiyo will pull out her ten puppet jutsu thing.

Nice strategy Mootz, but keep in mind, Sage Naruto doesn't start out in sage mode. He starts out in base mode. So the naruto you have engaging Tsunade probably won't be in sage mode. Since he has to stay still and gather energy on his own.

Nice use of Chiyo though. Although I feel that you didn't take into full account Jiraya's abilities.

Not bad. It may be enough to win this for you. We'll see.

Nice strat.

But I think Freehaven hit it first that Naruto doesnt start in sage mode.

However, I do like the strat of clipping the healing and then taking out the powerhouse for that team.

Also, I think Tsunade can tank a ghost punch and even more so if she breaks and uses the seal on her forehead D:

The whole point in hiding was to get into sage mode as well as the other stuff I mentioned, I thought that was self evident but I should have mentioned it either way. I dont expect Naruto to fight either Tsunade or Jiriaya without sage chakra.

Dammits. I am really sorry Mootz for bailing on you. The least i can do is apologise to you for not showing up. I just got soo busy suddenly with Uni so i completely lost track.
